CONTRACT ELECTRICAL INSTRUCTOR

The Substation and Generation Division at the Electrical Industry Training Institute, EITI, offers a variety of training courses related to the high voltage utility environment and we are seeking contract electrical instructors to join our team.
Qualifications, experiences and attributes of successful candidates should include:
- Electrician Certificate of Competency with an Inter-provincial Red Seal
- Seven years experience as an electrical journeyperson
- Excellent knowledge of electrical theory
- Experience working in a high voltage environment (i.e. 12kV and above)
- Computer literacy, including a working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Teaching experience and the completion of the Provincial Instructor Diploma Program would be considered an asset
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
